In
the piece “Head of an old clown” the artist brilliantly applied an element of geometric allegory, placing below the element of scissors. These are two geometric linear figures - black and red, without which the composition of the whole space would be fallen to pieces like a house of cards. ![]() The lines around the main composition being associated with scissors give the illusion of a harmony of disharmonious content of space. ------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ![]() The artist boldly introduces a very complex element - a reverse-moving perspective. Not many artists have succeeded in creation of such a complex element in the field geometric abstraction. In spite of such a complex construction of both figure and color, Izabella managed to expose the whole depth of the old clown's soul. ---------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------- ![]() Two compound circle, one of which rotates and another that falls to pieces, are the elements of the clown's eyes, his life and death The disintegrating circle is carried away by. elements of reverse-moving perspective which keeps us thinking about eternity. The rotating
circle symbolizes the triumph of life.

But old age comes across, and there are countless half-arcs
and elements of
ochre
yellow, symbolizing mortality. The majority of forms comprising the elements of the head are at the same time the elements symbolizing arena, the audience, the brilliance of soffits. And just like a whirlwind, they grab the view of the audience and carry it away, deep into outer space. The grey triangle - the element of exit - symbolizes the path to nowhere. N.
